add instructions how to get started with documentation
hi @bengfort, I just created an internal fork of the documentation.
Although it wasn't too hard to figure out, I think it could be helpful to add some instructions to the README.md (or a separate file like a CONTRIBUTING.md, if desired) on how to work with the documentation source code.
